Phantasy Star Gaiden Hint Page

In 1992 SEGA released Phantasy Star Gaiden for it’s Game-Gear platform. This is a side quest (Gaiden) that happens some time after the original Phantasy Star. Long ago the evil Cablon ravaged Copto, which is only one light year from Algo. In defeat Cablon was sealed on Copto. This planet was later discovered by Alis and turned into a Parmanian colony named ‘Alisland’. Now in AW 813 the evil stirs again….

Note: Phantasy Star 1 began in AW 342 (You can verify this by watching the intro on the Japanese version). This game takes place 464 years after the original Phantasy Star. Phantasy Star veterans may remember that the Mother brain was introduced to Algo in AW 845, which explains why Alis had to head back to Algo so suddenly.

This is a Japanese only release from 1992, but some amateurs have been nice enough to make an English text version. However, the work is far from amateur as the translation is far better than any done by SEGA of America for the four main PS games! Visit the translators at http://www.naflign.simplenet.com .
