Troubled Clouds

It was a warmish evening, and I had looked forward to a camera walk all day. There hadn't been much activity in the sky, but, as I made a left turn out of the driveway, I suddenly noticed new clouds toward the northwest. They were moving around rapidly at different levels as I also maneuvered myself along the sidewalk for the best visibility. It was either take the picture now, or miss the scene forever.

The formation did look ominous, and I had to make a decision. Should I continue the walk, or would it be wiser to wait out whatever was going to happen inside a safe shelter? Although the sky quickly flattened and lost photographic appeal, I elected to hurry back home, just in case. There was no rain here, but these clouds later got their act together and created a thunderstorm over the coastal counties.
