TO PREVIEW AND DOWNLOAD -- This stationery is for Outlook Express 5 & 6, and  can be downloaded in the .eml format only.   To preview stationery  click on the .EML file;  When the "File Download" box opens, click on "Open".   Double click on the .eml file and the stationery will open into your Outlook Express  program.  You can even use the stationery from here without downloading it.  Just write your message and send!  If you wish to save the stationery already in your OE program  into your computer, click on "File", then "Save as" and put the stationery where you want it. It will save as an .eml file.

IF YOU HAVE "SERVICE PACK 2 " FROM MICROSOFT INSTALLED:  Since I put in SP2, I find that when I click on the .EML file on my own site and other sites that use the .EML format, the stationery comes up in a format where you can preview it but not use it directly.  To use the stationery, in the menu bar click on "Forward".  The stationery will come up with some information on it which you can delete.  Then just use the stationery as usual.  If you want the stationery to load ready to use CLICK HERE and follow the steps outlined.

To save without preview, click on the .EML file in the Internet Explorer and click on "Save" from the "File  Download" box.  Put the stationery where you want it.  If  you do this , it will save as a .zip file.
Remember! you do not load .eml files in your computer directly from  your Outlook Express program.   Go to where you have saved the stationery and load from either the .eml file or .zip file depending on how you have saved it.  The file will load directly into your OE program.

GOOD TIP! -- Save in a folder right on your desktop for easy access.  To do this, go to your desktop.   Right click on the desktop and click on "new" ; then click on "folder".   Name the folder and click "enter".  The folder will appear on your desktop.   In the save dialogue box on the browser go to "desktop" and save into your folder.
ABOUT .EML FILES    PLEASE NOTE:    Each time you bring the stationery into your OE5 program, it will take on the default font you have set for OE5.  You, of course,  can format it with the font and color you want.  Remember that if the stationery has a black or dark background and your default font is black in your OE5 program, you will not see it until you select and  change the color.  For the stationery with intricate backgrounds, if the font does not show up as well as  you would like, try putting it in "Bold"

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are using Outlook Express 6, you may find that the scripts in some stationery (mine and others) do not work properly. This is because OE6 has a default security setting at the highest level. I have changed my security level back to what it was in OE5, which I was satisfied with. If you wish to do the same, take the following steps:
1. Open your OE6 program
2. Go to the menu bar and click on "Tools"
3. Then click on "Options"
4. Click on the "security" tab.
5. Under "Virus Protection" if "restricted sites zone" is selected change it to "Internet Zone (less secure but more
functional)".

Transition Notes
The above stationery are transitions - each picture fading or blending into the next.   You will see no pictures when in the "Edit" mode of your OE5 program.  They will appear in the "Preview"  only.  I have indicated with the words "text here" where to begin typing your message.  Of course, the recipients will get what you see in the "Preview" .

[NOTE]  At the bottom of your OE5 program when you bring up a new stationery you should see three tabs - one saying "Edit", one saying "Source" and one saying "Preview".  This is  what I am talking about when I discuss the "Edit" and "Preview" modes.  If these three tabs are not showing on your program, go the Menu bar at the top of  OE5   and click on "View", then click on "Source Edit".  The tabs will appear

I hope it all works the way it should.  If you have any problems with the stationery, please let me know!   Thanks.  Anne
