My Stationery is for your enjoyment and is to be used only for your personal e-mail communications

TO PREVIEW AND DOWNLOAD -- This stationery is for Outlook Express 5 & 6, and  can be downloaded in the .eml format only.   To preview stationery  click on the .EML file;  When the "File Download" box opens, click on "Open".   Double click on the .eml file and the stationery will open into your Outlook Express  program.  You can even use the stationery from here without downloading it.  Just write your message and send!  If you wish to save the stationery already in your OE program  into your computer, click on "File", then "Save as" and put the stationery where you want it. It will save as an .eml file.    To save without preview, click on the .EML file in the Internet Explorer and click on "Save" from the "File  Download" box.  Put the stationery where you want it.  If  you do this , it will save as a .zip file. (see below)
Remember! you do not load .eml files in your computer directly from  your Outlook Express program.  They load from your Windows  Explorer or desktop (wherever you have saved them).  Go to where you have saved the stationery and load from either the .eml file or .zip file depending on how you have saved it.  The file will load directly into your OE program.  If I have recommended a font you can delete what I have written before writing y our own message.  If the delete button does not take out the "recommend" line, just select the line and go to the menu bar and click on "Edit" then click on "cut".  This will remove the writing.

STATIONERY INFORMATION -  PLEASE READ

All of the stationery will work in OE5 and OE6 and has scrolling and it all has music.  In most, the scroll can be stopped and restarted and if the recipient wants "silent stationery"  he or she can click on the mouseover button (please see new "NOTICE" below) in the upper right hand part of the stationery. This is a "mute" and "play" button which turns the  music off and on.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are using Outlook Express 6, you may find that some stationery (mine and others) does not work properly. This is because OE6 has a default security setting at the highest level. I have changed my security level back to what it was in OE5, which I was satisfied with. If you wish to do the same, take the following steps:
1. Open your OE6 program
2. Go to the menu bar and click on "Tools"
3. Then click on "Options"
4. Click on the "security" tab.
5. Under "Virus Protection" if "restricted sites zone" is selected change it to "Internet Zone (less secure but more
functional)".

About Zipping: Using a .zip file is a way of comprsessing  material so that it does not take up so much space on the internet.  Since space is expensive, most of us zip up our files before putting them on the Net.  To use the files,  you must have a Zip Program in  your machine.  These are small utility programs that allow you to compress and uncompress files.  For any of you who do not have a zip program., I use Power  Zip.  It is very user friendly.  If you do not have a zip program and are interested in one you can find out about it and try a free download of PowerZip at http://www.powerzip.biz/.    Many people also use Winzip.  To find out about that go to http://www.winzip.com/.

NOTICE: It has been my experience that the mouseover button does not work in all of the OE6 stationery even with the security changes.  I have decided to eliminate the script from future stationery.
If you want to turn the music down or off, go the the "speaker" icon at the lower right hand portion of your screen and click on it.   Then either check "mute" or turn the volume down to as low as  you want it.  If  you check "mute", don't forget as I have done at times, to uncheck it when you are done with the stationery.  If  you don't you won't get any sound from your computer!

DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS ARE ON EACH THUMBNAIL PAGE

All the rags I have used can be found at "The Prime Time Midi Library"
and the website of  Warren Trachtman
The names that appear after the music are the artists who sequenced the pieces.
