Old patterns of living and relating,
Outdated attitudes and strategies,
The need to predict and control the future.
We believe that God calls us
to risk what is new --
Opening to God's leading through prayer study, vision, and conversation,
Embracing God's new day in mission investment, unusual and
unexpected ministry opportunities,
Growing in the Gospel through radical trust in the promises of God.
We believe that God calls us
to celebrate what God is doing here --
Coming to know God more fully through joyous praise and feasting in worship,
Coming to know the members of our church family more fully through fellowship
events and community building activities, study and service,
Coming to know ourselves more fully through personal stewardship of our time,
talents, skills, ideas, and financial gifts, and opening ourselves to others.
